AH LIFE lesson 005

A broken ladder lying on a grassy land.

God positioned our brain at the top to be the superior one.

Some hearts are meant to be broken, shattered, and crashed. Someday we'll find that someone who will bring those pieces together and thanking the person who once rip our heart. My friend told me before that I should never try and hold back my feelings for someone especially when I know it is the right thing. We can never escape the inevitable. The harder you fight it, the deeper and stronger the feelings would get. And I prove that wrong. There are things that we wanted so badly that we end up losing it. All I can do is to go with the flow. And I'll be sailing smoothly afterward.

Happiness is not a destination. It is a method of life. – Burton Hills

AH LIFE lesson 004

The back of two girls walking.

All's well that ends well.

There are certain memories from the past that we can't help but to reminisce. Some contains countless laughter and others are mere sorrows. For a person like me who believes in the so-called "destiny", such circumstances that we encounter in our journey are inevitable.

Kirstein is one of my best-est friend since I-don't-know-when. She left us along with many other people who valued her a lot. She departed the country together with her family maybe to seek a better future in the States. She said she has no choice and we all respect her leaving. No more corny jokes to ride on with and no more company on my way home. I couldn't handle this illusive thought that our 'kada will be facing our senior year without her presence.

There is this fate that keeps on holding on. I know she will come back. And oh, I will also miss working with her on photo shoots. The following images were taken a month ago.

Praising what is lost; makes the remembrance dear. – William Shakespeare

AH LIFE lesson 003

A native cat sitting on a wall.

Love can wait.

I don't haste when it comes to love. There's nothing to haste about for a 15-year old kiddo like me. Somehow, many people feel that they are left alone in this world because they don't have a girlfriend or boyfriend of some sort. But the things is, you just have to explore life in order to figure out that there is more to it than being involve in a relationship. Don't be like the cat in the photograph where he just sits there and feel lonely. Love comes in the right time and place. Just enjoy it and like they say, live it to the fullest!

I've learned that you can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for life. - Anonymous

AH LIFE lesson 002

Stuffs and different cleaning materials lying on the ground.

Doing some chores helps you burn calories.

Since the evolution of men, women have to do the household chores. They are not allowed to go to work and apply for a job. Their task is to keep the house clean. Cleaning the garbage is a hard thing to do if you don't have a mighty companion, broomstick and garbage can. They may look useless, cheap, and a plain old junk but they will never fail you when it comes to cleaning. I'm losing my point here. I just want to share that if you want to remove that excess fat that makes you conscious, go and get a chore!

After all, it is hard to master both life and work equally well. So if you are bound to fake one of them, it had better be life. – Joseph Brodsky

AH LIFE lesson 001

A man and a woman sitting together while looking in the same direction.

Savor every moment as if it is the last.

This is probably my nth blog. I couldn't help but create another one and so the list goes on and on. I want to add a little tweak in this blog by starting this project with the code name "AH LIFE". From this day on I will post the things that I have learned from the past 15 years of my existence. It includes photographs related to the lesson that I have learned. I just want to share it to everybody and I hope I can inspire everyone with these lessons. I am not a spiritual adviser or some sort. My subjects for my next entries will probably be about love, money, and maybe the simplest things on Earth.

Life is not lost by dying; life is lost minute by minute, day by dragging day, in all the thousand small uncaring ways. - Stephen Vincent Benét

One Last Photograph

Why "One Last Photograph"? I want to capture every moment as if it is my last. If I had one shot remaining, let me take a photograph of life in a perspective that is beyond the horizon of the human eye.

"AH LIFE" is the first series of my One Last Photograph personal photo blog that I launched last March 22, 2007. My purpose is to share 101 lessons that I have learned in my years of existence through a series of photographs that I took before I start another project.

This Nobody is trying to survive the sarcasms of her boring life by taking photographs of her unlikable environment in the province. This Miss Goody-Two-Shoes rambles about everything of almost anything and is in fact the “taklesa” one in her family. This Algebra Girl happens to have more functional neurons on her right side of the brain which involves love for arts rather than the left hemisphere of the brain that is meant to associate with numbers. This Heartless of Music may not vocally sing in front of an audience but dramatically hums a melody for mending her broken heart that was emotionally murdered brutally by someone she once loved. Hi! I am Camille, 15. This is my blog and welcome to my world!
